Rural Housing

A new county-wide Rural Housing Enabling Partnership will be established in 2009 to help secure improvements in housing in rural areas. Building on the successful partnership working already in place in Aylesbury Vale and Chiltern District the new partnership will spearhead work to develop local rural housing exception sites and to improve the quality and use of the existing rural housing stock. Using money secured from the Bucks Strategic Partnership, combined with contributions from a number of Housing Associations, this is an exciting development that will help meet concerns about rural housing raised in the recently agreed Rural Strategy 2008 – 2012.
