Awards For All  have made changes to their  application form and guidance notes and will only be accepting the old version of the form until 1st April 2008. WREN- WRG Communities Challenge

WREN (Waste Recycling Environmental) – a body which distributes landfill tax credit funding for

community projects on behalf of Waste Recycling Group Ltd. has launched its WRG Communities

2008 Challenge.

Organisations are invited to bid for funding of between £75,000 and £250,000 for capital projects

which will make a real difference to their community.

The Challenge covers those areas of Buckinghamshire within 10 miles of the WRG Ltd landfill sites at

Calvert, and Bletchley

Entries need to be submitted by 30 May 2008. To find out if your project is eligible and for further

"Budget Yourselves"

For sometime FunderFinder, the database of grant making trusts, has had a piece of free software called "Apply Yourselves" to help groups write a funding application.

Now they have produced "Budget Yourselves" which helps groups to produce a budget and compare actual costs with their budget figures as the financial year progresses. 

The program is free and can be downloaded at www.funderfinder.org.uk  If you have problems downloading a copy it can be obtained by sending a blank floppy disc to Laurie Johnson at Buckinghamshire Community Action
